Bottles (old tomato puree bottles)

I have got plenty of tomato puree bottles, they hold 750 ml. I know they don't look as cool as real wine bottles but they are far easier to clean. Are they suitable for bottling wine? The opening is about 5 cm in diameter and they have the usual jam jar lid.
