Does anyone have any mead bottling tips? I generally bottle mine straight from the spigot, usually leaving an inch or two of headspace, but may start using a racking cane in the future. I'm not good about checking ABV like I am with beer, so I usually wait a month or two after active fermentation has ended and check to make sure there's no visible carbonation. I've heard that it's ok to bottle in beer bottles with a capper, but I prefer to do mine in wine bottles.
