Mix two different kinds of kefir grains

Hi, I got kefir grains from two different people. Their fermentation time is similar but the taste is a bit different. And one creates more whey than the other one, I think this one is higher quality.

I have plenty so I was wondering about mixing both in a separate jar as an experiment, and if this would have a symbiotic outcome and get new grains with more different types of beneficial bacterias, any thoughts?
