Anyone know if Lactobacillus gasseri be breed in milk and will it set to yogurt?
Or should it be combined with another strain for best results?

It looks like it is a fermenting anaerobe and it has been cultured with milk but it says fermented milk drink rather than yoghurt so I don't know whether it will cause milk to set. It is related to acidophilus but you would need to be careful what you are mixing in case they produce anti biotic substances which destroys the other co-bacteria.

It looks like some experimentation is the only way to find out.
