Hardened tempeh starter
Posted: Thu Apr 13, 2017 4:45 pmI thought I'd try my hand at making tempeh so I ordered a bag of Wira brand ragi tempe starter. It arrived as a solid block, not the powder I was expecting. Is there any point in grinding it up in the hopes that it's still active, or is it obviously dead?
