I decided even though I had a tiny amount of grains I would try to make kefir. I put in sugar, rasins and cranberries. 48 hours later I had kefir, those little grains have a big heart. I love it, it is so refreshing, not sweet at all. Made a batch with peach and raisin it was also excellent. I just started a batch with apple and raisin, should be good.
My wife is very reluctant to try what she calls my science project. She took the tiniest sip ever and said thats good but doesn't want to drink it. Which is just as well for the moment because I can make such a small batch.
Once I get this production rolling, how much kefir is too much and how do I know?
Thanks,
Barry
