What is the best salt ratio for beet kvass please. I have made it according to some recipes but it was way too salty for my taste. Thank you. I prefer not to use whey.
Hi there~ I have not made recipe this but can say that I have had luck with as little as 2 teaspoons of salt per quart jar. Beets were fairly large so water ratio less.
