I am pretty new to fermentation, but very interested. Am currently making ginger beer and keeping a ginger bug alive. I have a new batch of ripe banana vinegar starting tomorrow. Have previously made pineapple vinegar. Also curds and whey by first collecting micoorganisms in rice water then using 10 parts whole milk to one part ricewater to feed the lacto bacteria.

PS: It was confusing to me at first how to do an initial post. Perhaps a brief bit of instructions would decrease the "no post" rate.
