Hi y'all - intro post-ing

Hi everyone

I'm specifically into old world fermentation polish kosher dill pickles.
My dad grew kirbys and let his dill crown/flower. Passed the recipe to me before he passed on. I'm a lot more miss then hit. No idea what I'm doing wrong. Hoping to share knowledge with the folks here
