Soy tempeh was made. This shows the final product fermented 32 hours. Perfect tempeh.

hey Durgan as I said before you have it nailed... Question how large is the "batch"? How often do you make a batch?

A batch is about 2 pounds, dry quantity is half a liter. Each mold produces about 9 chunks, a pound, and I eat a chunk every morning.

I make a batch about every two weeks. If excess is made then I freeze the cake.

I simply cut a piece off the cake and don't bother frying and find it works well. My little dog even gets a piece and eats it with relish. I eat almost no meat and use the tempeh as a substitute. My weight is constant.

I use to make Natto, but this is simpler.
