Fermented Garlic is turning GREEN! (is this ok?)

Hello, I started lacto fermenting white garlic cloves about two weeks ago. Yesterday I noticed that they are starting to turn green. While the jars smell wonderful, I am concerned the garlic has taken a turn for the worse. Is green garlic ok to eat?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I didn't see this post when I posted mine yesterday (see Freaky Green Garlic above). I have eaten the sauerkraut that my garlics turned green in, but not the green garlic. I will let you know if I find out more about this!

This happened to me...turned greenish then ended golden. I ate it...it was yummy....

I am going to find some today.

I love garlic so my guess is that I would like this.
