Kraut going brown on top.

The top of my Kraut is going a bit brown after 5 days. Still smells ok. I'm suspecting not enough salt, brine coverage is good. Can, or should I add more salt?

You can and it'll do no harm beyond possibly making it unpleasantly salty if you're misinterpreting the cause.
