Fermentation Research Studies

Hey all,
I'm working on a pamphlet to teach people about traditional fermentation practices and I was wondering if anyone has come across any scientific research studies verifying probiotics and fermented foods as beneficial to certain diseases.

I also found studies about Autism and Candida/Yeast Infections, but would like to find more.

I haven't come across any articles that definitively link probiotics to better health, but then again I don't do that much hunting for those kinds of things.

What I do find fascinating as a beekeeper (and this may not be great material for your pamphlet) is that bees cultivate their own probiotics and research does show a clear symbiotic relationship where bacteria enhances bees' immune system.

"It also is proposed that nonpathogenic bacteria can be used as a probiotic to enhance honey bee immunity, helping bee larvae, and other life stages, survive attacks from pathogens in the field."
