Cultured foods and pregnancy

Anyone know if there is info about cultured foods and safe for pregnancy? Especially ginger beer, kraut, and sour pickles?

There are trillions of bacteria in a womans digestive system so I doubt whether eating fermented food is going to pose a problem. Fermented food provides considerably less than that. That is unless there are immune system problems or high digestive permeability.

Would you question eating yoghurt? Pickled onions? A glass of wine?
