Mold Spores

My house is pretty susceptible to mold (the black kind), and I'm worried about fermenting foods/alcohol and attracting the wrong sort of mold. Perhaps I don't know enough about the process, and what's good or bad molds. Can anyone help me out?

If you're really concerned about it, switch off any fans or HVAC to have still air while working with the ferment. If you notice mold starting to grow on top of your ferment, scoop it out. Unless it gets completely out of hand, a little mold on the surface of ferments is no big deal.
