Switching Kombucha Tea

So currently I make a new batch of Kombucha every week. I use pure black tea for this.

I would like to start making Green Tea Kombucha. Would this greatly affect the scoby that I have been using with black tea only? Thanks so much!

It shouldnt affect your SCOBY at all. I make black and green tea kombucha, ive also tried white tea and oolong which both worked well. Just dont use any teas that contain essential oils as they will make your SCOBY go bad.
