I am in need of advice/tips on sauerkraut in my crock. I keep getting mould.
the problem I am having is that I am getting mold, that is after putting cabbage leaves on top and a zip lock filled with water and in a crock with a water seal. The mold occurs over the first 2 weeks. What am I doing wrong?

You should post your question in the Veggie Ferments board. Also, describe the colony that you're finding and tell us if the produce is submerged when you open the crock.
